Great team. Big growth. Your call on where it goes next. We’re partnering with a highly regarded not-for-profit disability and aged care provider in south western Sydney to find their next Manager, Allied Health.

Most leaders in this space inherit a team or get handed a blank page. This role offers both: a skilled, established team, and the mandate to build what comes next. Our client’s allied health division is up and running, and they’re now expanding into Aged Care and Medicare-funded services. They need a leader who can keep the team performing while building new streams alongside it.
The opportunity

You’ll lead a multidisciplinary team of behaviour practitioners, psychologists and contracted clinicians, with scope to add occupational therapy, speech pathology, physiotherapy, dietetics, podiatry, social work and nursing as the division grows. You will:
  • Keep delivery strong and compliant for the existing NDIS team
  • Build new service streams in Aged Care and Medicare/fee-for-service, including gap fees and health fund claiming
  • Join the Senior Leadership Team, reporting directly to the COO and shaping a commercially sustainable division
  • Establish a graduate pathway program to make the organisation a destination for students and new grads in south western Sydney
  • Oversee compliance, restrictive practices governance and quality reporting, and build partnerships with regulators and universities
  • Coach, mentor and inspire a team that’s proud of the work it does
What you’ll bring
  • 10+ years in senior management within allied health, ideally in a highly regulated human services environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant allied health field
  • Registration with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission as an Advanced Behaviour Practitioner
  • Strong knowledge of NDIS, aged care and health care standards (or the ability to pick them up quickly)
  • A track record of leading established teams through change and growth
  • A collaborative, authentic, culture-first leadership style
  • Postgraduate qualifications and professional membership are highly regarded
Why this one’s worth a conversation
  • You won’t start from zero. You’ll step into a team that’s already delivering
  • Genuine scope to shape new service lines and the future of the division
  • A values-driven organisation where people with disability are at the centre of every decision
  • A supportive executive team and a leadership seat with real influence
The successful candidate will be required to complete a National Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check, and provide proof of right to work in Australia.
