Located in the heart of Brisbane’s CBD, above the beautiful Roma Street Parkland and with excellent access to public transport, our private hospital is seeking an experienced Theatre Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) – Scrub/Scout to join our Perioperative leadership team.
The Opportunity
This is an exciting full-time leadership role for an experienced Scrub/Scout nurse who is ready to take the next step in their career. Working within our dynamic Theatre Complex, you will play a key role in supporting high-quality patient care while leading and developing our Scrub/Scout team.
Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager – Operating Theatres, you will provide both clinical and operational leadership, ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-centred perioperative services.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational and clinical leadership to Floor Coordinators and the Scrub/Scout team
- Support daily theatre flow and coordination
- Lead, mentor, and support staff performance and development
- Manage rostering and staffing requirements
- Conduct and support clinical audits and quality improvement activities
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- Extensive experience as a Scrub/Scout nurse within an acute hospital setting
- Demonstrated leadership experience or readiness to step into a leadership role
- Strong communication, organisational, and people leadership skills
- Commitment to excellence in patient care and clinical governance
- Full-time leadership role within a supportive perioperative team
- $61.77 – $66.23 per hour + superannuation
- Central Brisbane CBD location above Roma Street Parkland
- Close proximity to public transport
