We are currently seeking Associate Nurse Unit Managers (ANUMs) to support our growing Perioperative Services Team. Our facility has recently undergone a major redevelopment to meet the growing healthcare needs of Melbourne’s Northern suburbs. Highlights include:
- 4 brand-new operating theatres
- A new 4-bed high dependency unit
- Expanded Orthopaedic services
- Premium consulting suites, on-site pharmacy, and day surgery admission area
- Integrated with an academic health precinct, supporting nursing education and clinical research
- Provide leadership and clinical guidance across perioperative services, with a focus on Urology
- Support a culture of learning, safety, and continuous improvement
- Coordinate evidence-based nursing care and ensure optimal resource management
- Foster strong professional relationships with VMOs and multidisciplinary teams
- Assist with clinical audits and lead quality improvement initiatives
- Participate in direct patient care as required
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Recent experience as Shift Coordinator, ANUM, or Clinical Nurse Specialist (desirable)
- Postgraduate qualification in perioperative nursing (or working towards)
- Strong clinical knowledge and alignment with ACQSHC National Standards
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and model positive behaviours
- Exceptional communication, time management, and customer service skills
- Confidence managing a fast-paced and evolving clinical environment
- Proficiency with MS Office and clinical data systems
- Current Working With Children Check
