Some of the duties of the role will include ;

  • Assist with general daily routines of the young people you will be supporting.
  • Medication administration, meal preparation, domestic chores, personal care, running everyday errands and creating fun activities
  • Help young people conquer challenges - from homework to healthy habits
  • Be their trusted guide - provide transportation and facilitate meaningful connections with families
  • Keep detailed records – shift notes completed and recorded each day


What you need to be successful to work for Talent Quarter;

  • Relevant qualifications such as a Diploma in Community Services, Youth Work, or similar
  • A QLD Blue Card
  • Minimum 6 months + paid experience managing challenging behaviours in Youth work
  • Essential checks and qualifications – National Police Check, WWCC, First AID and CPR
  • A valid driver's license and a reliable car + a willingness to drive the young people you support to where they want to go. ( Kms reimbursed)
  • TCI training is preferable and becoming an Industry standard
