Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily clinical operations of the paediatric ward/unit
- Support and implement effective admission, transfer, and discharge processes
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care
- Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing staff
- Promote safe, child-centred, and family-focused care
- Contribute to quality improvement and best-practice initiatives
- Strong paediatric clinical expertise, including child development and age-appropriate care
- Compassionate, family-centred approach to nursing
- Sound clinical judgement and critical thinking skills
- Clear, effective communication with children, families, and colleagues
- Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic clinical environment
- Collaborative mindset and commitment to multidisciplinary teamwork
- Cultural awareness and respect for diverse families and communities
What’s on Offer
- Salary: $109,767 – $115,813 per annum (pro rata) + 12% superannuation
- Postgraduate allowance of up to 10% (based on qualification)
