We are seeking Registered Midwives & Dual Registered Midwives for contracts throughout regional Victoria.
The Role:
- 0.8 - 1 FTE
- Work across a rotating roster including nights
- Birth Suite, Antenatal Care, Postnatal care & Pregnancy assessment
- Travel & Accommodation provided
- 6 - 12 week contracts available from January onwards
ESSENTIALREQUIREMENTS
- Degree level qualification with a recognised educational institution in Nursing or Midwifery (or other if required)
- Registration with AHPRA
- FSEP Level 3
- Neonatal Resuscitation First Response
- Maternity Emergencies course (PROMPT or equivalent)
- A strong midwifery background
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated commitment to the provision of care, which focuses on the woman and their family
- Commitment to flexibility and innovation in practice including an evidence-based approach to care
Other requirements:
- Current issued with 12 months employee police check
- Current employee VictoriA Working with Children check
- Current evidence of immunisation history and/or serology results
