Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care within scope of practice
- Support residents’ independence, dignity and overall wellbeing
- Assist with assessments, care planning and ongoing monitoring
- Administer medications and treatments as delegated
- Monitor and report changes in clinical condition
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborate with RNs, PCAs, GPs and allied health professionals
- Contribute to quality improvement and safety initiatives
- Adhere to infection control, WHS and aged care standards
- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse
- Experience in aged care, sub-acute or acute settings
- Strong understanding of person-centred care
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Solid clinical observation and assessment ability
- Flexible to work a rotating roster (incl. weekends & public holidays)
- Previous experience in residential aged care
- Familiarity with electronic care systems
- Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards
- Understanding of manual handling / No Lift principles
- Experience in rural or regional healthcare
