About the Role Working within a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred care that promotes dignity, independence and wellbeing for older Australians. This role is primarily based in residential aged care, with occasional exposure to acute care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care within scope of practice
  • Support residents’ independence, dignity and overall wellbeing
  • Assist with assessments, care planning and ongoing monitoring
  • Administer medications and treatments as delegated
  • Monitor and report changes in clinical condition
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with RNs, PCAs, GPs and allied health professionals
  • Contribute to quality improvement and safety initiatives
  • Adhere to infection control, WHS and aged care standards
About You
  • Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse
  • Experience in aged care, sub-acute or acute settings
  • Strong understanding of person-centred care
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Solid clinical observation and assessment ability
  • Flexible to work a rotating roster (incl. weekends & public holidays)
Desirable
  • Previous experience in residential aged care
  • Familiarity with electronic care systems
  • Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Understanding of manual handling / No Lift principles
  • Experience in rural or regional healthcare
