Perioperative Floor Coordinator – Full-Time

Talent Quarter is seeking an experienced Perioperative Floor Coordinator to join a dedicated team on a full-time basis. We have partnered with a well established Hopital in the area.

This is a purpose-built, multidisciplinary day surgery facility equipped with modern infrastructure and staffed by a highly skilled clinical team. The facility specialises in day procedures across a range of surgical disciplines including Ophthalmology, Plastic and Reconstructive, Dental and Oral surgery.

Committed to delivering safe, high-quality, same-day surgical care, the team works closely with surgeons and patients to ensure a seamless and positive experience.

This role is suited to a highly experienced Perioperative Nurse with expertise in Anaesthetics and/or PACU. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Coordinating patient flow and theatre utilisation
  • Managing daily staffing to meet operational and financial goals
  • Collaborating with surgeons and stakeholders to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Providing clinical leadership to maintain and exceed care standards
  • Thriving in a fast-paced, supportive team environment
About You:
  • Solid perioperative nursing experience, with specialist skills in Anaesthetics and/or PACU
  • Previous experience in a leadership, coordination, or team supervision role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Confidence in a dynamic theatre setting
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
