This is a purpose-built, multidisciplinary day surgery facility equipped with modern infrastructure and staffed by a highly skilled clinical team. The facility specialises in day procedures across a range of surgical disciplines including Ophthalmology, Plastic and Reconstructive, Dental and Oral surgery.
Committed to delivering safe, high-quality, same-day surgical care, the team works closely with surgeons and patients to ensure a seamless and positive experience.
This role is suited to a highly experienced Perioperative Nurse with expertise in Anaesthetics and/or PACU. Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating patient flow and theatre utilisation
- Managing daily staffing to meet operational and financial goals
- Collaborating with surgeons and stakeholders to ensure high-quality patient care
- Providing clinical leadership to maintain and exceed care standards
- Thriving in a fast-paced, supportive team environment
- Solid perioperative nursing experience, with specialist skills in Anaesthetics and/or PACU
- Previous experience in a leadership, coordination, or team supervision role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Confidence in a dynamic theatre setting
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
