A well-supported private mental health facility on the Central Coast of NSW is seeking a locum General Adult Psychiatrist.
- Earn up to $3,000 - $3,500 per day or $270 – $300/hr
- Travel and accommodation negotiable
- Available for short-term, medium-term, or extended locum blocks
This is a straightforward, well-run role with excellent MDT support and flexible locum options.
The Locum Role
- Inpatient: approx. 2-3 days per week
- Patient load: approx. 10 inpatients per day
- Option to add outpatient consulting or telehealth sessions with OOP rates of ~$600-800 per patient
- Case mix: Mood disorders (~60%) and dependency/addiction (~40%)
- Full clinical autonomy, established referral pathways and smooth admissions processes
- Onsite Registered Psychologists and full MDT support
