LOCUM SOCIAL WORKER - COMPLEX CARE
Salary: $75 per hour + Super + Living Away From Home Allowance Assistance
Location: Regional Victoria - around a 1.5 hour drive from Melbourne
Accommodation and Travel: Included
Hours: Full Time, Monday - Friday
Contract Length: 12 weeks initially with scope for extension
We are seeking a qualified Social Worker experienced primarily in Acute hospital work, but inclusive of palliative care and community/outpatients.
The Social/Welfare Work Department consists of a team of social workers who provide a range of services that include psycho-social assessment, complex care planning, grief and bereavement intervention, counselling, advocacy, mediation, consultation and liaison for patients/clients/residents and their families/carers across a variety of settings and service delivery types. Services include acute, outpatient paediatric service & community palliative care.
This position offers the opportunity to work as part of an effective interdisciplinary team, providing quality care to clients through use of clinical skills and interventions within the scope of integrated services. The role gives exposure to a rural and regional healthcare service, partnering with larger health networks including, to ensure the role is supportive and fosters career growth across a range of areas.
