About the role
As a Midwife, you will provide high-quality, culturally respectful care to women and babies through pregnancy, labour, birth, and postnatal periods. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct antenatal assessments and high-risk pregnancy screening
- Provide care during labour, including monitoring and examinations
- Deliver postnatal care and support for mothers and newborns
- Perform newborn screening tests and document results
- Promote positive health outcomes for women and families
What You’ll Need
- Current AHPRA registration as a Midwife
- Minimum three years’ midwifery experience
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Ability to work independently and adapt to remote/rural settings
