About the Role
As a Midwife, you will provide high-quality, culturally respectful care to women and babies through pregnancy, labour, birth and postnatal periods across various communities in the Northern Territory. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective care.
Key responsibilities include:
• Conduct antenatal assessments and high-risk pregnancy screening
• Provide care during labour, including monitoring and examinations
• Deliver postnatal care and support for mothers and newborns
• Perform newborn screening tests and document results
• Promote positive health outcomes for women and families
What You’ll Need
• Current AHPRA registration as a Midwife
• Minimum three years’ midwifery experience
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia
• Ability to work independently and adapt to remote/rural settings
