About the Role Reporting to the Executive Director of Operations & Performance, and working in partnership with the Clinical Director-Department of Medicine, you will:
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across Sub Acute & Ambulatory Care Services
- Lead clinical governance, quality improvement, and risk management frameworks
- Oversee a broad and diverse service portfolio including:
- Rehabilitation Wards
- Renal Services
- Specialist Clinics
- Diabetes Centre
- Hospital Aged Care Liaison Team
- Transitional Care Program
- Refugee Health
- Respiratory & Neurology Services
- Diabetes & Renal Research
- Manage human, financial, and operational resources in line with organisational objectives
- Drive innovation in service redesign, education, and research
- Mentor and support Nurse Unit Managers, fostering a high-performing and collaborative culture
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
- Proven experience in senior nursing leadership within complex healthcare environments
- Strong background in clinical governance, service delivery, and workforce management
- Ability to lead large, multidisciplinary teams and influence at an executive level
- Desirable: Relevant postgraduate qualifications
