Occupational Therapist – Transdisciplinary Disability Service Sydney | Community & Clinic Based | Full-Time or Part-Time

Talent Quarter is partnering with a well-established transdisciplinary disability service to recruit an Occupational Therapist passionate about delivering strengths-based, person- and family-centred care across the lifespan.
This opportunity suits an OT who values collaboration, evidence-based practice and making a meaningful impact within community and clinic settings.

About the Role You will work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality occupational therapy services to individuals living with disability and their families.
The role focuses on empowering clients within their natural environments and supporting positive, functional outcomes through evidence-informed intervention.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Practice
  • Deliver client-centred OT assessments and interventions
  • Apply evidence-based, strengths-based approaches
  • Support clients within home, school, work and community settings
  • Collaborate with clinical leaders to enhance service delivery
  • Provide culturally responsive and trauma-informed care
Assessment, Measurement & Reporting
  • Conduct standardised occupational and sensory assessments
  • Monitor client progress and adapt intervention plans as required
  • Complete clear and accurate documentation including goals, treatment plans and outcomes
  • Support smooth transitions between services and programs
  • Provide professional guidance to families making enquiries or on waiting lists
Collaboration & Teamwork
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary and interagency environment
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families and external stakeholders
  • Provide guidance and support to families and professionals
  • Contribute positively to team culture and shared goals
About You Essential
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Experience or strong interest in working with children and/or adults with disability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload with autonomy
  • Commitment to person- and family-centred practice
  • Current NSW Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
Desirable
  • Experience working in transdisciplinary or integrated allied health teams
  • Knowledge of disability or NDIS-funded services
