The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join an OT team as Practice Lead, you’ll provide clinical and professional guidance, mentor staff, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care. You’ll drive service development, foster a culture of learning, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve the best outcomes for clients and families.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and mentor a team of OTs and therapy assistants.
- Oversee OT programs and ensure best-practice, person-centred care.
- Conduct performance appraisals, supervise staff, and support professional growth.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to provide integrated care.
- Monitor service quality, risk management, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration.
- Proven leadership or senior clinician experience.
- Strong experience in strengths-based, person-centred OT with complex clients.
- Excellent communication, mentoring, and team collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage priorities, work autonomously, and drive service improvement.
- Current Police Check, Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening, driver’s licence, and reliable vehicle.
