An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and motivated Pharmacist in Charge to join a well-established community pharmacy group in metropolitan Adelaide. This role is perfect for a pharmacist who enjoys taking responsibility for daily operations while providing exceptional care to their local community.
As Pharmacist in Charge, you’ll be supported by a capable dispensary and retail team, along with guidance from the Pharmacist Manager and head office. You’ll have the autonomy to lead day-to-day pharmacy activities while ensuring professional standards and excellent patient outcomes.
What you’ll do:
- Oversee all aspects of pharmacy operations, including dispensing and professional services
- Provide accurate advice and counselling to patients and customers
- Foster a positive team culture and lead by example in delivering outstanding customer care
- Maintain compliance with all legislative and professional requirements
- Collaborate with local healthcare professionals to enhance community health outcomes
- Current AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist
- Previous experience as a Pharmacist in Charge or managing pharmacist preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Attention to detail, initiative, and a commitment to patient-centred care
- Ability to work effectively within a supportive and busy community environment
