Program Support Coordinator – Remote Health Services (Permanent)

Recruited by Talent Quarter on behalf of a leading Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service in the Kimberley, WA.

We're partnering with a well-established Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service to find an experienced clinician to coordinate clinical frameworks across the Kimberley. This is a permanent role for someone who wants their work to genuinely shape remote primary health care.

The role

You'll work alongside Remote Health Centre leadership teams to integrate primary health programs into everyday clinic operations - from health promotion and sexual health through to suicide prevention, NDIS and training programs.  Key focus areas include:
  • Medicare income – policy frameworks, education campaigns and monthly reporting to maximise clinic revenue
  • Continuous quality improvement – clinical policies, annual audit schedules, ISO 9001 and RACGP (AGPAL) accreditation readiness
  • Telehealth – supporting the rollout of Emergency Telehealth Services across all centres
  • Contract management – funding bids, timely reporting and monitoring of KPIs and nKPIs
  • Cultural safety – embedding the ACCHS Model of Care in everything the clinics do

About you
  • AHPRA-eligible Registered Nurse or Aboriginal Health Practitioner with advanced clinical skills
  • Solid understanding of the ACCHS Model of Care and primary health programs
  • Experience with Medicare requirements, CQI and Telehealth
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, and comfortable juggling competing priorities
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • "C" class WA driver's licence and willingness to travel frequently by 4WD and small aircraft, including overnight stays
  • Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
Highly regarded: prior experience in the Aboriginal Community Controlled sector, Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, and local Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander connections to the region.

What's on offer
  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Base salary of $125,000 + salary packaging, accommodation allowance, electricity allowance and other annual benefits
  • The chance to travel across some of Australia's most striking country while making a real difference to remote Aboriginal health outcomes
  • Supportive, values-driven team with strong cultural governance
