About the Role  Private Hospital is seeking experienced and passionate Registered Midwives to join our supportive and family-friendly Maternity team.
In this role, you will work collaboratively with Obstetricians, Paediatricians and a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care to mothers and babies across the full continuum of maternity services, including antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated clinician who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred care in a welcoming and professional environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Deliver comprehensive midwifery care across antenatal, labour and postnatal settings
  • Work confidently within Delivery Suite, Antenatal, Special Care and Postnatal Units
  • Collaborate with Obstetricians, Paediatricians and multidisciplinary teams
  • Support and educate mothers and families throughout their maternity journey
  • Maintain high clinical standards and contribute to quality improvement initiatives

About You Essential Criteria
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in maternity services
  • Relevant qualification in Nursing/Midwifery or equivalent
  • Proven experience across Delivery Suite, Antenatal, Special Care and Postnatal Units
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development
Desirable Criteria
  • Evidence of continuing commitment to professional groups
  • Demonstarted participation in patient education sessions within the maternity unit 
  • Participation in policy and procedure development
  • Previous experience within the private healthcare sector
