Talent Quarter, in collaboration with Tasmania Health, is seeking passionate Registered Nurses to join the dedicated team on Flinders Island. Multiple permanent full-time and part-time positions are available within the Hospitals & Primary Care network in the Northern region.

About the Role As a Registered Nurse, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality patient care across hospital departments

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans

  • Monitor, assess, and respond to patient health changes

  • Administer medications and prescribed treatments

  • Support patients and families throughout their care journey

  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation

About Flinders Island Multi-Purpose Centre A vibrant, multipurpose facility offering:

  • 24-hour emergency care

  • 5 sub-acute beds and 9 residential aged care beds

  • Community nursing, day centre services, and visiting specialists

Located in the stunning Furneaux Islands off Tasmania’s northeast coast, Flinders Island is renowned for its untouched landscapes, pristine beaches, and outdoor lifestyle, perfect for hiking, fishing, snorkelling, and relaxation.

Salary & Benefits$78,179 – $105,995 per annum (pro rata) + 12% superannuation
Salary range per Nurses & Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.

Additional benefits include:

  • Post-Graduate Allowance of up to 10% (depending on qualification)

  • District Allowance up to $4,618 per annum for a family

  • Remote & Rural Professional Development Allowance of $3,699 per annum + 10% salary allowance

  • Relocation assistance up to $15,000 (overseas) or $10,000 (interstate)
