Registered Nurse – Rural & Regional Queensland (MPHS & Small Hospitals) We are seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) for a range of rural and regional contract opportunities across Queensland, including placements in Multi‑Purpose Health Services (MPHS), small hospitals and community facilities.
These roles are ideal for nurses who enjoy variety, rural practice and working across ward, emergency and aged care services.
About the Roles Our contracts are based in regional and rural Queensland, with multiple start dates and contract lengths available.
Depending on the facility, your role may include:
- Acute ward nursing
- Emergency and urgent care presentations
- Residential aged care services
- Rural generalist duties in small teams
- After‑hours and on‑call support (site‑dependent)
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 2+ years post‑registration experience
- Experience in acute care, rural nursing, emergency and/or aged care
- BLS (essential) and ALS (preferred/essential depending on site)
- Confidence working autonomously in regional or rural environments
- MPHS or small hospital experience
- Emergency/Triage exposure
- Aged care experience
- Rural or remote background
- Access to ongoing rural RN contracts throughout the year
