  • 4 modern operating theatres
  • A state-of-the-art refractive laser suite
  • A 2-bed first-stage recovery unit
  • A 12-chair second-stage recovery unit

The Role
We are seeking perioperative Registered Nurses with experience in Ophthalmology Scrub/Scout, with the opportunity to work across Admissions, Anaesthetics, and Recovery. This role is ideal for nurses who enjoy a collaborative environment and delivering outstanding patient care in a day surgery setting.
Key Responsibilities
  • Scrub and scout duties for ophthalmic procedures
  • Providing safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care
  • Supporting patients across admissions, theatre, and recovery
  • Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Upholding quality, safety, and infection control standards
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Current AHPRA registration with a practicing certificate
  • Police Clearance and Working With Vulnerable People check
  • Experience in recovery and/or theatre nursing (desirable, not essential)
  • Post-registration perioperative qualifications (desirable, not essential)
  • Ability to work across multiple perioperative roles (preferred)
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Flexibility to work variable day shifts only (no weekend shifts)
  • A team-focused approach and commitment to day surgery principles
Graduate nurses with recent perioperative placement experience are encouraged to apply.
