Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, efficient, and high-quality perioperative nursing care within the Scrub/Scout role
- Anticipate and respond to the needs of the surgical team throughout procedures
- Maintain aseptic technique and uphold strict infection prevention standards
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anaesthetists, and multidisciplinary colleagues
- Contribute to continuous improvement and uphold hospital policies and standards
- Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse (no restrictions)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Scrub/Scout position within a hospital setting
- Demonstrated experience in orthopaedic and/or neurosurgical procedures
- Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and teamwork ethos
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
