About the Opportunity Join the North West Maternity Services team and play a key role in delivering high-quality care to women and families across Tasmania’s North West.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a diverse maternity service, including antenatal, birthing, postnatal and community-based care, within a supportive and collaborative environment.
About the Service North West Maternity Services operates primarily from the North West Regional Hospital, with services extending across:
The service includes:
- 4-bed birthing suite
- 20-bed inpatient ward
- 8-bed Special Care Nursery
- Antenatal and postnatal services
- Lactation, allied health and perinatal mental health support
- Deliver high-quality nursing or midwifery care
- Support women and families across the maternity journey
- Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Contribute to patient education and discharge planning
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Registered Nurse and/or Midwife with current AHPRA registration
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work across a rotating shift roster

- $80,524 – $109,175 + 12% super (pro rata)
- Salary packaging: up to $9,010 + $2,650 meal entertainment
- Postgraduate allowance up to 10%
