Are you an experienced Practice Nurse looking to join a large, well-established GP Clinic? Are you looking for a permanent role within a supportive team that genuinely values Respect, Teamwork, Professionalism, Integrity and Compassion?

We are currently partnered with a large, well-established GP Clinic in Kiara, Western Australia, who are looking to recruit an experienced Practice Nurse to join their team on a permanent full-time basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy multidisciplinary clinic, working alongside 26 GPs, visiting Allied Health professionals, 5 Nurses, a Head Nurse and 2 Practice Managers.

The successful Nurse will work Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week, providing high-quality nursing care while becoming an integral part of the wider clinical team.

The Role

As a Practice Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
  • Immunisations and vaccinations
  • Wound care and dressings
  • Health assessments and care plans
  • Chronic disease management
  • ECGs and spirometry
  • Pathology collection
  • Assisting with minor procedures
  • Infection control and sterilisation
  • Cold chain management
  • Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
  • Supporting GPs with day-to-day clinical requirements
  • Providing patient education and ongoing clinical support
  • Using Best Practice clinical software
Skills & Experience

To be considered for this position, you will ideally have:
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Previous experience working within General Practice / Primary Healthcare
  • Experience across core Practice Nursing duties including immunisations, wound care, health assessments and chronic disease management
  • Experience using Best Practice software is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and patient-care skills
  • Ability to work confidently within a busy, multidisciplinary clinic
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • A collaborative approach and ability to work effectively as part of a wider clinical team
  • A commitment to delivering compassionate, professional and patient-centred care

Credentialling Requirements

The successful candidate will be required to provide:
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • National Police Check – issued within the last 12 months
  • Working With Children Check (WA)
  • Current First Aid / CPR / BLS
  • Nursing qualification / degree certificate
  • 100 points of ID
  • Contact details of 2 recent clinical references
What’s on Offer?
  • $80,000 – $85,000 per annum + Super, depending on experience
  • Permanent full-time employment
