About the Role As Facility Manager, you will have full accountability for the clinical, operational, and people performance of the service. You will lead from the front, stabilise and strengthen systems, and drive sustainable improvement across care quality, compliance, culture, and outcomes. This role requires a leader who is comfortable with change management, decisive action, and coaching teams through periods of transformation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead clinical and operational turnaround initiatives, including addressing non-compliance and risk
  • Strengthen clinical governance, documentation, and care delivery practices
  • Ensure full compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory requirements
  • Provide visible, hands-on leadership to clinical, care, and support teams
  • Build accountability, capability, and engagement across the workforce
  • Manage occupancy, budgets, workforce planning, and performance metrics
  • Drive continuous improvement and embed sustainable systems and processes
  • Build trust with residents, families, regulators, and key stakeholders
  Essential Criteria
  • Proven experience as a Facility Manager  in aged care
  • Strong understanding of clinical governance and Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Demonstrated success leading change, improvement, or turnaround initiatives
  • Ability to identify, fix, and sustain compliance and quality improvements
  • Strong people leadership, coaching, and communication skills
  • Relevant clinical qualification (Registered Nurse preferred)
  • AHPRA registration (where applicable)
