Talent Quarter is partnering with a well-established organisation in the community services sector to recruit experienced Residential Youth Workers for multiple permanent opportunities across the Perth metropolitan area. These positions focus on supporting children and young people in residential care settings, providing a stable, structured, and supportive environment where they can feel safe and supported in their day-to-day lives.
About the Role
As a Residential Youth Worker, you will play a key role in supporting young people with daily routines, promoting positive behaviours, and contributing to a consistent and supportive home environment. You will work with individuals with varying needs, requiring a calm, adaptable, and proactive approach.

About the Role
As a Residential Youth Worker, you will play a key role in supporting young people with daily routines, promoting positive behaviours, and contributing to a consistent and supportive home environment. You will work with individuals with varying needs, requiring a calm, adaptable, and proactive approach.
Roster options include:
- 7 days on / 7 days off (live-in style)
- Rotating day and night shifts (8–9 hours)
- 24-hour shift models
- Sleepover shifts (required)
We are seeking candidates who are passionate about making a difference and confident working in dynamic environments. You will ideally have:
- Certificate IV (or higher) in Youth Work, Community Services, or a related field
- Experience working in residential care or a similar setting
- Understanding of trauma-informed practice and working with complex behaviours
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust while maintaining professional boundaries
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current Working with Children Check
- National Police Clearance
- First Aid Certificate
- Valid WA Driver’s Licence
