Speech Pathologist – Community & Clinic
Macarthur Region, NSW | Flexible caseload | Supportive MDT

Why you’ll enjoy working here

If you’re a Speech Pathologist who wants to deliver high-quality, person-centred therapy without feeling rushed or isolated, this is a role where your clinical judgement, curiosity and care genuinely matter.

You’ll join a supportive multidisciplinary team that values evidence-based practice, human-rights-driven care and collaboration. You’ll have the autonomy to work confidently, backed by clinical leadership, supervision and a culture that encourages learning and reflection.
Whether your strengths sit in paediatrics, adult communication, dysphagia, or a mixed caseload, this role can be shaped around your interests and career goals.

What you’ll get

  • Flexible full-time or part-time options
  • A varied caseload across children and adults registered with the NDIS
  • Strong clinical supervision and professional support
  • A collaborative multidisciplinary team environment
  • Time and encouragement for professional development and reflective practice
  • Opportunities to work across clinic, community and telehealth settings
  • A workplace that values quality outcomes, inclusion and clinician wellbeing

The impact you’ll make

In this role, you’ll support people to communicate, connect and participate more fully in daily life by:
  • Completing speech, language, communication and swallowing assessments
  • Designing and delivering individualised, goal-focused therapy programs
  • Supporting children and adults with communication, social participation and mealtime safety
  • Providing education, strategies and home programs to families, carers and support staff
  • Working collaboratively with OTs, allied health colleagues, educators and support coordinators
  • Preparing clear, purposeful NDIS reports and documentation
  • Using evidence-based practice to guide decision-making and outcomes

Who this role is ideal for

This role would suit you if you:
  • Enjoy community-based, person-centred speech pathology
  • Are interested in paediatric, adult or mixed NDIS caseloads
  • Value autonomy, but want clinical support and teamwork
  • Care about inclusion, communication access and human-rights-based practice
  • Want to continue learning, reflecting and growing as a clinician

What you’ll bring

  • A recognised Speech Pathology qualification
  • Current Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) membership or eligibility
  • Experience or interest in NDIS and community practice
  • Strong communication, clinical reasoning and documentation skills
  • Confidence working with clients, families and multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to ethical, evidence-based and person-centred care

(If you’re earlier in your community or NDIS journey, supervision and support are available.)

Our values (what this means for you)

We’re a values-driven organisation that believes supported clinicians deliver the best outcomes:
  • Integrity – You’ll be trusted to practice ethically and professionally
  • Respect – Your experience, voice and perspective matter
  • Compassion – For clients and for each other
  • Excellence – Learning, reflection and innovation are encouraged
  • Equality – Inclusive care and an inclusive workplace

We’re proud to foster a diverse and inclusive workplace, welcoming applicants from all backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, LGBTQIA+ communities, veterans and people with disabilities.
