Your Responsibilities As an Associate Nurse Unit Manager, you will:
- Provide clinical leadership and operational direction across perioperative services
- Support and mentor nursing staff, fostering a positive and collaborative culture
- Coordinate daily operations, ensuring efficient use of resources
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits
- Maintain strong professional relationships with Visiting Medical Officers (VMOs)
- Deliver hands-on patient care when required
- Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
- Working with Children Check
- Demonstrated experience managing shifts or acting in-charge
- Current or previous ANUM/CNS experience (desirable)
- Post-graduate qualification in a relevant specialty (or working towards)
- Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to patient safety standards
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment
