We are looking for a Behaviour Support Practitioner to join a multidisciplinary team. You’ll work with children with Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, and other developmental challenges, helping them achieve their therapy goals.
Location Ballarat 
Full time permanent 

About You
  • Must be proficient level or advanced 
  • Personable, approachable, and excited to engage children in therapy
  • Motivated to develop clinical knowledge and take on new challenges
  • Strong communicator with excellent people skills
  • Committed to providing high-quality Behaviour Support services
  • Interested in Autism and disability
  • Confident with assessments, or open to learning new assessment tools
Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
  • Relevant allied health qualifications Behaviour, Psychology 
  • CBA or BCBA credentials (or working towards certification) highly desirable
  • Experience working with children and knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorders, Intellectual Disability, and/or disability support
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and Victorian WWCC
Responsibilities
  • Develop interim and comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans in line with NDIS guidelines
  • Deliver 1:1 sessions with participants to achieve behaviour support goals
  • Provide training to parents, carers, support staff, and educators
  • Conduct functional behaviour assessments
  • Complete clinical documentation and session notes
  • Attend supervision, team meetings, and multidisciplinary collaboration
  • Contribute to a positive, fun, and supportive work environment
