The division of Primary Care Services offer a range of community-based prevention, early intervention, post-acute treatment, health rehabilitation and recovery and continuing services designed to improve or maintain the health of individuals and communities. The Allied Health department comprises of 11 different specialty services providing services to clients in the Glenelg Shire.
This position is a generalist occupational therapy caseload that involves treating a diverse range of conditions across various patient demographics. Working with a multidisciplinary Allied Health team, clinicians applying for this position must have sounds understanding across the following areas.
This includes:
- Inpatient gen med & orthopaedic caseload
- Community outpatient clinics, in particular aged care services
- Working with and delegating task to Allied Health Asistants
This role requires adaptability and broad expertise to deliver personalise care in different clinical settings. This role will require the clinician to work as a sole practitioner on occasion.
