The division of Primary Care Services offer a range of community-based prevention, early intervention, post-acute treatment, health rehabilitation and recovery and continuing services designed to improve or maintain the health of individuals and communities. The Allied Health department comprises of 11 different speciality services providing services to clients in the Glenelg Shire.
This position is a generalist physiotherapy caseload that involves treating a diverse range of conditions across various patient demographics. Working with a multidisciplinary allied Health team, clinicians applying for this position must have sounds understanding across the following areas.
This includes
- Inpatient gen med & orthopaedic caseload
- Community outpatient clinics
- Rehab groups, Ortho and Falls & Balance
- Residential aged care, initial assessment and review
- Working with and delegating task to Allied Health Assistants
