About the Roles We are seeking two experienced Mental Health Clinicians to join a dynamic and growing public mental health service. These full-time roles sit within separate, specialised programs:
- 0–25 Years Program – Focused on early intervention, recovery-oriented care, and therapeutic support for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults.
- 26+ Adult Mental Health Program – Providing assessment, crisis support, and long-term care for adults living with complex mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct mental health assessments and deliver recovery-focused interventions
- Provide crisis support, care planning, and risk management
- Collaborate with carers, families, and service partners
- Engage in clinical reviews, documentation, and discharge planning
- Contribute to team development, supervision, and service improvement
- Minimum 2 years’ mental health experience
- Relevant tertiary qualification and registration:
- Registered Nurse (Division 1 with mental health post-grad)
- Psychologist (AHPRA)
- Occupational Therapist (AHPRA)
- Social Worker (eligible AASW member)
- Speech Pathologist (SPA membership)
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care, recovery principles, and mental health legislation
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and documentation skills
- Experience in child, youth or adult mental health settings (as relevant)
- Familiarity with MARAM, CISS/FVISS and Mental Health and Wellbeing Act
- Knowledge of AOD and family violence frameworks
- Experience in public mental health or community-based programs
