About the Opportunity Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Full Time Nurse Practitioner specialising in Wound Care within our Primary Care Team based in the North West. What You’ll Do
- Assess, diagnose, and develop comprehensive treatment plans for complex wound conditions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
- Educate patients and families on wound prevention and self-management strategies
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to professional development programs
- Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with relevant wound care qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in wound assessment and advanced treatment modalities
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with best practice guidelines

Key Appointment Details
- Salary: $144,146 per annum
- Superannuation: 12% employer contribution (in addition to salary)
- Agreement: In accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023
- Hours: Permanent full-time, up to 76 hours per fortnight (day worker). Flexible hours may be negotiated.
- Vacancy Duration: This selection process may be used to fill subsequent full time, part time, and casual roles for up to 12 months.
- Post-Graduate Allowance: Up to 7.5% depending on qualification type
- Relocation Support: Up to $10,000 for interstate appointees
