About the Role We are seeking a Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) to provide leadership and direction across a 25-bed Critical Care Unit, managing acute cardiac, medical, and high-dependency surgical patients. You’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading a skilled, multi-disciplinary team

  • Delivering evidence-based nursing care

  • Driving clinical outcomes and patient-centred service

  • Managing human, financial, and material resources effectively

  • Ensuring compliance with national healthcare standards

About You You’ll be a motivated and inspiring leader with:

  • Specialised nursing experience in cardiology and/or critical care

  • A postgraduate certificate (or working towards) in cardiology/critical care

  • Previous NUM or equivalent leadership experience

  • Current AHPRA registration & Working with Vulnerable People check

  • Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills

  • A commitment to quality, safety, and innovation in patient care
