An exciting opportunity has become available for a self-motivated Retail Pharmacy Manager to join and lead a dedicated team of pharmacy assistants in a well-established community pharmacy located in  North West Victoria.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about healthcare and customer service, who can bring energy and leadership to a friendly and supportive environment.


About the Role

As the Retail Pharmacy Manager, you will lead a team of pharmacy assistants and oversee all retail operations within the pharmacy. Your focus will be on delivering outstanding customer service, promoting health awareness, and driving retail performance through effective leadership and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote the pharmacy as a trusted centre for advice, health, and wellbeing
  • Manage daily retail operations including merchandising, stock control, and visual presentation
  • Assist across all areas of the pharmacy including orders, register, phone enquiries, and supporting the dispensary
  • Staff rostering and team scheduling to ensure adequate coverage
  • Monitor and drive sales targets, KPIs, and profitability
  • Coach, mentor, and support team members to build a strong, customer-focused culture
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and pharmacy regulation

  • Prior experience in a pharmacy or retail management role is highly desirable
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • A clear understanding of retail operations and staff rostering
  • Ability to drive team performance and lead by example

  • High energy, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for the pharmacy industry
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with the Pharmacist in Charge and broader team
