About the Hospital
This large acute private hospital offers comprehensive services across surgical, cardiac, maternity, rehabilitation and oncology specialties. Facilities include state-of-the-art theatres (including a hybrid theatre), a coronary care unit, a cardiac catheter laboratory, maternity suites, and oncology services providing care across the entire treatment journey.

Your Role
As a Perioperative Registered Nurse – Anaesthetics, you will:

  • Undertake perioperative nursing care in accordance with relevant legislation and standards

  • Deliver evidence-based anaesthetic nursing care to patients

  • Liaise effectively with the multidisciplinary team to optimise patient outcomes

  • Promote and maintain patient and staff safety at all times

  • Supervise, direct and guide Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing in delivering patient care

  • Proactively assess and evaluate nursing care provided

  • Maintain clear, accurate and timely documentation in patient records

Essential Criteria

  • Current AHPRA Registration and Australian working rights

  • Minimum 3 years’ post-graduate experience in an acute perioperative setting as an Anaesthetic RN

  • Commitment to high-quality patient care and compliance with national standards

  • Availability for participation in the on-call roster

  • Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

  • Basic computer skills
