We are currently seeking passionate and skilled Registered Nurses to join the Intensive Care Unit team at a leading private hospital. Permanent full-time positions only.
About the Hospital
This large acute private hospital offers comprehensive surgical, cardiac, maternity, rehabilitation and oncology services. The facility includes advanced theatres—including a hybrid theatre—and a fully equipped Intensive Care Unit, delivering high-quality care across the continuum.
Your Role
As a Registered Nurse – ICU, you will:
- Support the nursing team in planning, assessment, implementation and evaluation of evidence-based, person-centred care
- Demonstrate professional practice in line with AHPRA standards, codes of conduct and organisational policies
- Foster a learning environment through clinical education, mentoring and supervision of peers, graduates and students
- Actively contribute as a valued member of a multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional patient outcomes
- Collaborate effectively with visiting medical officers and external providers to deliver seamless care
- Current AHPRA Registration and Australian working rights
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in an acute surgical or cardiac ward setting
- Commitment to high-quality patient care and compliance with national standards
- Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Post Graduate Certificate in ICU, HDU or CCU (or working towards) is highly regarded
