About the Role We are seeking a Registered Psychologist to provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy to children, adolescents, and adults with neurodevelopmental needs.
The role spans both Neurodevelopmental Assessment Programs and Allied Health therapeutic supports, including:
- Assessments and diagnostic formulation
- Treatment planning and psychoeducation
- Individualised therapy to children and young people
- Conduct ASD, ADHD, and SLD assessments using standardised tools.
- Manage up to two ASD or five ADHD/SLD assessments per day.
- Deliver assessments for privately funded and NDIS clients.
- Partner with families to identify barriers and provide strategies.
- Develop tailored home programs and self-management plans.
- Support teachers and schools with strategies and training for neurodiverse students.
- Provide professional development and consultation to education providers.
- Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, and Allied Health Assistants.
- Participate in care planning, case conferences, and team meetings.
- Contribute to early intervention programs in childcare settings.
- Oversee and support interventions delivered by Allied Health Assistants.
- Deliver clear, accurate, and timely reports:
- ASD assessments – within 2 weeks
- ADHD/SLD assessments – within 1 week
