The Role
As a Speech Pathologist, you’ll play a key role in helping clients improve their communication, language and swallowing abilities in a way that’s meaningful to their goals and everyday life.
You’ll have the autonomy to manage your own caseload, while still having team support, mentorship and flexibility.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing assessments and interventions for children, adolescents and adults
- Supporting clients with communication and swallowing difficulties
- Working collaboratively with other allied health professionals and stakeholders
- Delivering therapy across clinic, school, home or community settings
- Writing quality, evidence-based reports
- Building strong relationships with families, carers, support networks and services
You’ll need:
- A recognised degree in Speech Pathology
- SPA membership (or eligibility)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- WWCC, NDIS Worker Check, and Police Check
- Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- Full working rights in Australia
